Avantor ACE HPLC columns are manufactured with 100 A Ultra-Inert Base Deactivated Silica specifically designed for your HPLC method development needs. Avantor ACE HPLC columns are available in a wide range of bonded phases (including C18, C18-AR, C18-PFP, C18-HL, C8, C4, Phenyl, AQ, CN and Sil) - Note C18-HL is 95 A. Avantor ACE HPLC columns are available in 3, 5 and 10 um particle sizes and a wide range of column IDs and column lengths including nano, capillary, microbore, analytical, semi-preparative and preparative formats. All Avantor ACE columns are known to deliver excellent peak shape and verified batch to batch reproducibility. Columns are packed in 275 bar HPLC hardware. Note: Avantor ACE HPLC guard columns are available for all 3.0 and 5.0 um particle sizes across 2.1 mm to 4.6 mm column ID - Note: C0001 male/male union is needed to connect guard holder (H0001) to the analytical column. YMC-Pack ODS-AQ is a unique reversed-phase material with both a hydrophobic high carbon loading and a relatively hydrophilic surface Because of the hydrophilic surface ODS-AQ can be wetted with polar eluents It provides chromatographers reproducible retention and excellent peak shape in highly aqueous mobile phases including 100% water This is due to the C18 ligands on ODS-AQ actually being lifted from the surface by the action of the eluents penetrating the silica pores Selectivity on YMC-Pack ODS-AQ can be subtly different from that seen on conventional ODS columns Differences in selectivity are most often encountered when analyzing mixtures of relatively polar compounds Typically longer retention and greater resolution are observed with ODS-AQ Available in both 120 and 200 pore sizes YMC-Pack ODS-AQ is well-suited for analysis and purification of peptides and other biomolecules
